To strengthen our security posture across the region, we are searching for a Regional Security & Risk Manager to join our EMEA team.
This is a global facing regional risk role, ideal for someone who can spot emerging threats, navigate international issues, and operate confidently in a fast-moving and complex environment. You will function as a versatile security professional — part risk analyst, part intelligence interpreter, part crisis advisor — supporting leadership and employees across multiple countries.
About The Role Based in Stockholm, you will serve as Nasdaq’s key regional contact for identifying threats, analyzing risks, managing incidents, and strengthening operational resilience. You will break down complex legal, operational, and geopolitical information into clear guidance for the organization, acting as an internal consultant and trusted advisor across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and assess regional risks and threats, translating complex intelligence and operational information into clear guidance for leaders and teams.
Conduct security and risk assessments across EMEA and other locations as necessary and recommend practical, actionable improvements.
Serve as a regional advisor on security, risk, and incident response matters — a versatile “jack-of-all-trades” supporting managers and colleagues.
Manage incidents and crisis responses, including travel security and emergency communication through Titan.
Maintain key security relationships, including law enforcement, risk/intelligence partners, and third-party vendors.
Oversee core security operations, including systems (CCTV, access control), vendor management, and compliance with Nasdaq policies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, International Relations, or related field.
Significant experience in corporate, operational, or regional security, including leadership across multiple sites.
Strong knowledge of physical security, investigations, risk management, and emergency response.
Familiarity with global risk and intelligence environments (government, private sector, or similar).
Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (CPP, PSP, CFE).
Experience in geopolitical analysis, intelligence review, or global risk monitoring.
Established network within the risk/security/intelligence community.
Experience operating in diverse international environments.
